There will be a collection for the Lagoa Food Bank
A Catholic Mass in English will be held this Sunday, July 21, at 4 pm, at the Chapel of Our Lady of the Incarnation – Ermida da Nossa Senhora da Encarnação – on the cliffs above Carvoeiro.
The whole Mass will be in English: the readings, the hymns as well as the Order of Mass.
The celebrant will be Padre Nuno Coelho, the parish priest. Everyone is most welcome even if you do not normally attend this church. Padre Nuno Coelho is keen to welcome Catholics from every country, of whatever language.
“We have a retiring collection for the Lagoa Food Bank, who have over 100 families in need at this time. Please give generously. We are aiming to raise €250,” said Carvoeiro Catholics.
There will be refreshments after Mass. All are welcome.
This Sunday mass is in addition to the regular Saturday evening Portuguese Mass in Carvoeiro at 5.30pm.
