Always able to see things from a ‘different perspective’, Portugal’s PCP communists have described the election result in Venezuela (that has left so many countries feeling uncomfortable) as “an important democratic day, in which millions of Venezuelans participated and whose results affirmed popular support for the Bolivarian process”. The party has also denounced what it calls “internal and external actions aimed at jeopardising the legitimacy and results of the electoral process”.
