AmericanCars Algarve, back for its 11th edition, will be held at the Parque de Lazer das Figuras on August 2, 3, and 4. Entry is free.

Dozens of American cars, including the most varied iconic models, will be displayed over the weekend in a unique event in Portugal. AmericanCars Algarve is back for its 11th edition on August 2, 3, and 4, with its usual carnival of cars, contests, performances, and more.

American culture will also invade the Parque de Lazer das Figuras, with several commercial stands, entertainment for children and street food.

According to the organisation, the “Best Pin-Up” contest will take place on Saturday. During this contest, competitors will parade in shorts, T-shirts, bikinis, and pin-up dresses. During the break of the last pin-up model show, a burlesque act will take the stage.

Musical entertainment will feature tribute bands to Black Sabbath, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Skunk Anansie, Guano Apes and Gun’s N Roses, as well as DJs and Country Panteras (country dance).

Angel’s Attic will also organise a vintage clothing parade, and the Urban Xpression dance company will return to perform on Sunday.
