Art Expo Algarve “presents a broad spectrum of contemporary art”
Art Expo Algarve, a contemporary art exhibition which brings together hundreds of artists and galleries from around the globe, will be returning to Portimão Arena for its third edition between September 27 and 29.
“Since 2021, the Art Expo Algarve international art fair has been a centrally located platform for current contemporary art with international participation and a diverse range of artworks. In addition to presentation and trade, it serves above all as a place for personal encounters, exchange and networking,” organisers say.

“The fair presents a broad spectrum of contemporary art in different formats and price ranges. A wide variety of artistic expressions and media are represented. In addition to painting and sculpture, graphic art, photography, objects and virtual works will be shown,” they add.
As the team behind the event puts it, “the participation of international galleries and artists enables the many visitors to discover new artistic voices from different parts of the world each year. Personal encounters are at the heart of the fair”.

The event is also popular for its talks with artists, which offer a “unique opportunity to learn more about the artworks and the creative process.” In fact, one of the highlights of the third edition promises to be a live demonstration by Ukrainian acclaimed artist Denys Dytyniuk.
Artists interested in taking part in the Art Expo Algarve can still submit their applications on the event’s official website.

The fair will run from 10am to 8pm except on Sunday, September 29, when it will close at 6pm. Admission will be free.
