Verdelago Beach Club serves traditional dishes with a ‘twist’, signature cocktails, champagnes and sparkling wines. It also boasts a rooftop lounge.
Verdelago Resort in Castro Marim opened its new beach club at Praia Verde on August 1.

Aiming to provide a “unique summer experience” in a “relaxed setting with a sea view,” the Verdelago Beach Club focuses on serving regional gastronomy with a “surprising twist”.

“With beach support and concession services, this is the ideal restaurant for a meal with a sea view. The dining area seats 54 people, plus a lounge with 32 seats,” the resort says in a statement to the press.

Highlight dishes from the Verdelago Beach Club menu include oysters, ceviche made with fish fresh from the market, and the “traditional Algarve Muxama Salad”, a salad featuring salt-cured and aged tuna. Customers can also choose between razor clams from the Ria Formosa, clams looked in the traditional Portuguese ‘bulhão pato’ style, or a “lobster hot dog”. Artisanal ice creams and fresh seasonal fruit are also part of the menu.

The beach club features a rooftop lounge, where customers can enjoy the sunset with a “selection of signature cocktails, champagnes and sparkling wines.”

Verdelago Beach Club is open daily from 10am until sunset. The restaurant serves lunch from 12pm to 4pm.
