A 24-year-old man leapt onto a Linha de Sintra commuter train as it prepared to leave Damaia, Amadora, yesterday, and promptly collapsed, bleeding. Fellow passengers discovered he had only just been stabbed – and fled his attacker/s the only way he knew how. Once the train arrived at Sete Rios, in Lisbon, authorities were alerted, and the young man transported “in a serious condition” to hospital. PJ police are investigating, and searching through CCTV footage and images provided by passengers to try and identify the assailant/s, say reports.
