Investor Talks described as “biggest financial literacy event in Portugal”
The third edition of Investor Talks, described as the “biggest financial literacy event in Portugal,” will be held in Portimão between September 14 and 15.
Bringing together over 15 speakers specialising in finance from across the country, the event will feature lectures focusing on subjects such as personal finance, stock exchange, real estate and business.
In-depth advice will be provided on everything from personal savings, management of family budgets and career progression, to EFTs (exchange-traded funds), shares, retirement plans and cryptocurrency. There will also be lectures on ‘Fix and Flip’ (buying houses to renovate and sell), renting and mortgages, as well as how to develop a brand, set up online and retail stores and launch startup companies.
The diversity of themes was by design so that “participants have contact with different areas and form their own opinions and understand what best fits their preferences and goals,” Investor Talks founder Ruben Rocha told Barlavento newspaper.
The event will take place at Portimão Arena, with all lectures being presented in Portuguese. Tickets are already for sale online, with prices starting at €19,99 for an online ticket and €59,99 for a regular ticket.
