Photographer Ricardo Soares’ exhibition “Terra & Mar” can be visited at the Vila do Bispo Interpretation Centre throughout September.
Ricardo Soares’ “Terra & Mar” (Land & Sea) photography exhibition will be featured at Vila do Bispo’s Interpretation Center between September 3 and 30.
Free for all visitors, the exhibition offers a visual exploration of the intangible aspects of Vila do Bispo and Cabo de São Vicente’s territory using projected photographs.
Images cast on walls capture the essence of space, fleeting moments, climate variations, Nature’s ability to bounce back, sustainability efforts, shifting landscapes, and the cultural backdrop of societies.
Ricardo Soares was born in Setúbal in 1974 and has lived in Vila do Bispo since 2014. He is an archaeologist, museologist, speleologist, and photographer. He explores photography as a method of recording time and space, supporting visual memories and the language of artistic expression and metaphysical communication.
The exhibition can be visited from Monday to Friday, between 10h00 and 16h30. Entry is free.
