In Lagos, overlooking the sea, is the “most expensive house in Portugal” – the ‘unique property’ of a Swiss/Brazilian couple, currently on the market priced at €27 million. The seven-bedroom, eight bathroom mansion is listed on the Idealista website, and followed (in price) by a ‘quinta’ in Sintra (with a great deal more land), selling for €24 million. Featuring an aerial view of the house in its edition today, Correio da Manhã says that Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie “visited” but “did not advance with the purchase because she wanted something more private”.
