A fun night was had by 82 guests at Restaurante O António in Moncarapacho, Olhão to celebrate StreetLife’s 7th anniversary… and what a night it was!
ABBA music is clearly very popular with our supporters going by the amount of dancing at the end of the evening.
A grand total of €1,715 was raised as a result of our 7th anniversary – the majority from the ABBA Dine & Party event, and the rest from donations by many supporters who couldn’t make the evening but wanted to help celebrate our StreetLife birthday. Donations are still coming in.
Big thanks go to all the helpers on the night, Dizzie, Jean, Janet and Bill… not forgetting the StreetLife President, Graeme: to quote Abba … “thank you for the music!”
Thank you to António and his team, who did us proud. They worked so hard, and the service and food were both excellent.
Thank you to our sponsors who donated prizes for the evening: Octant Vila Monte; Real Marina Hotel, The Wine Bistro (Vila Sol), Borges Restaurant (Almancil, Philippe Stabile Hairdressers (Almancil)… not forgetting Home Sesil, Tribulum, Barbacoa, Apolónia and Monterosa Olive Oil (to name but a few). who have donated prizes for our Halloween Wine Tasting Dinner on October 31… and more prizes are expected to be donated.
During the last 12 months, StreetLife has sterilized, on average, 5 dogs per week. An incredible achievement. We are just about to hit our 1200th sterilisation over the next couple of weeks.
Our thanks go to all of our supporters, who must never underestimate the part they play in helping StreetLife to continue their work. We could not do this without you.
