TVDE drivers protest in Lisbon

Around 40 TVDE drivers associated with the National Movement Association (AMN) are staging a protest in Lisbon today, demanding better working conditions in the sector. Cars carry flags identifying TVDE activity (ride-hailing apps like UBER) and black balloons symbolise the discontent over a lack of revision of the law that regulates TVDE activity, and was scheduled for two years ago. Ricardo Luendo, a driver for around a year and a half, began a hunger strike at 7 am today, writes Lusa, promising to stick with it until the government gives him an answer.
