With so much apparently riding on the passing of the State Budget for next year, prime minister Luís Montenegro is back in Lisbon today for his scheduled meeting this afternoon with PS secretary-general Pedro Nuno Santos. This is the first time the two men – who have exchanged plenty of mutual insults in the past weeks of rising political tensions – are due to meet to try and reach the consensus that the country needs in order to avoid the calling of yet another round of legislative elections.
