StreetLife runs an Animal Sterilisation Programme in the East Algarve
An ABBA Dine and Party Night held last month celebrated the 7th anniversary of StreetLife. Eighty-two guests attended the event held at Restaurant O António in Moncarapacho raising €1,700 for the charity which runs an Animal Sterilisation Programme in the East Algarve.
Linda Cree of StreetLife said: “Abba music is clearly very popular with our supporters going by the amount of dancing at the end of the evening!”
Thanks went to all the helpers on the night, António and his team at the restaurant, and sponsors who donated prizes for the evening: Octant Vila Monte; Real Marina Hotel, The Wine Bistro (Vila Sol), Borges Restaurant (Almancil), Philippe Stabile Hairdressers (Almancil) … not forgetting Home Sesil, Tribulum, Barbacoa, Apolónia and Monterosa Olive Oil (to name but a few) who have donated prizes for the Halloween Wine Tasting Dinner on October 31.
“During the last 12 months, StreetLife has sterilised on average five dogs per week. An incredible achievement. We are just about to hit our 1200th sterilisation over the next couple of weeks. We will keep you updated,” said Linda, who thanked all the charity’s supporters. “We could not do this without you.”
