A strike on Friday by non-teaching staff (for better working conditions) is almost certain to prompt the closure of the majority of schools, warns the national federation of public and social sector workers syndicates (FNSTFPS). Artur Sequeira of FNSTFPS said schools that do remain open will only do so “with many difficulties”.
