PJ arrest foreign woman “strongly suspected” of having slit throat of Portuguese mother-of-three

PJ police have announced the arrest of a 33-year-old foreign woman (nationality not specified) “strongly suspected” of having slit the throat and thus killed mother-of-three Sara Carratalana in Lourinhã on Monday night. The arrest took place, says the PJ, “after intense and continuous investigative work”. As for the motive, the force has ruled out an initial thesis of “illegal immigration and/or labour exploitation”, leaning instead towards “reasons of passion”.
