Galicia wants common front to demand high-speed rail with north of Portugal

The Regional Government of Galicia has today called for the creation of a common front with Portugal to demand that the Spanish government provide the necessary infrastructure for a high-speed rail link between Galicia and northern Portugal. In a statement, the autonomous regional government of Galicia explains that the regional minister for justice and sports, Diego Calvo, expressed in the Galician parliament the need “for institutions, business organisations, port authorities and other social and economic actors on both sides of the border to come together” to demand high speed rail.
