Lisbon city budget expected to be €1.359 billion in 2025

The PSD/CDS-PP leadership of Lisbon City Council presented a municipal budget today of €1.359 billion for 2025, slightly higher than the €1.303 billion forecast, deputy mayor Filipe Anacoreta Correia (CDS-PP) admits. Stressing this is the fourth and last budget of this mandate, Anacoreta Correia described the proposal as “a very solid budget”, with “very balanced accounts” which reflects the municipality’s ability to mobilise its efforts to respond to the calls of the city and the people. Among expenditure, he highlighted €154 million on housing, €38 million on social rights, including support for the homeless (€12 million) and €38 million on urban hygiene.
