3.4 earthquake recorded south of Olhão

The Portuguese Institute of the Sea and Atmosphere recorded the seismic activity yesterday at 17h39.

Yesterday, November 12, at 17h39, the Portuguese Institute of the Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA) observed a 3.4 magnitude earthquake.

According to the Continente Seismic Network station data, the earthquake’s epicentre was situated approximately 50 kilometres south-southeast of Olhão in the Eastern Algarve.

The IPMA has stated that it has not received any reports verifying that individuals felt this earthquake.
