Christmas shopping in VRSA can win shoppers prizes
The municipal council of Vila Real de Santo António has announced the return of its “Natal a Ganhar” (Christmas Winning) campaign, aimed at boosting local commerce and supporting small businesses during the holiday season.
Running from November 15 to December 24, the campaign rewards shoppers for buying locally by offering the chance to win exciting prizes.
Shoppers who spend €20 or more at participating businesses in Vila Real de Santo António, Monte Gordo, or Vila Nova de Cacela will receive an entry ticket for a prize draw. The rewards include an electric scooter for first place, an electric bicycle for second place, and an electric kick scooter for third place.
To enter, customers can simply present their receipts at VRSA town hall or parish councils in Monte Gordo and Vila Nova de Cacela, where they can collect and fill out a participation ticket. Completed tickets must be submitted by December 26. The draw will be held on December 27 at 4pm at Vila Real de Santo António’s Christmas Village, with winners announced online at www.cm-vrsa.pt.
The campaign is open to a wide range of small businesses, including shops, services, and restaurants, though larger grocery chains, gyms, real estate firms, and construction companies are excluded.
Says the municipal council in a statement, the initiative underlines its commitment to economic growth by promoting local businesses and fostering the vibrancy of Vila Real de Santo António’s ‘Open-Air Shopping Centre’.
