Musician will perform at Os Agostos in Santa Bárbara de Nexe
The Amigos de Música will welcome Ukrainian pianist Artem Yasynskyy, on December 3 and 5 for two performances in the Algarve.
“He was sent to us by well-known pianist and ‘Amigo’ Piers Lane as one of the winners in his Australian Piano Competition in Sidney,” said Amigos de Música in a press statement.
Originally from Donetsk, Artem Yasynskyy had moved in 2010 to study in Germany. He has won many international competitions, recorded several CDs and played globally on various continents. He now teaches in Bremen, Germany, and is also professor at the Trieste, Italy Conservatory.
On Tuesday, December 3, Artem’s programme features works by Schubert, Mozart, Grieg and Szymanovski and on Thursday, December 5, he will play Bach, Debussy and Ravel, including some special surprises by Yasynskyy himself.
Amigos de Música concerts at Os Agostos, in the hills of Santa Bárbara de Nexe, begin at 7pm. Gates open at 6pm and wine, fruit juices and canapés will be served as from 6.15pm. There will be a short interval.
Entry donation, including refreshments, is €30 per person for guests and non-members, payable in advance by bank transfer (see website www.amigosdemusica.org).
