Special events for the entire family
Lagos Zoo has announced the return of ‘Natalândia’, its annual Christmas event.
Taking place from December 6 to 24 between 10am and 5pm, the special programme features activities for the entire family.
Visitors will receive a Santa hat upon arrival to get into the festive spirit, while children are handed a letter to write to Santa Claus that they can fill out and deliver directly to him during the visit.
There will also be a charming Christmas Village that visitors can discover, as well as a nativity scene display, fun games for children and a special Christmas theatre, taking place on December 7, 8, 14 and 15 and daily between December 18 and 24.
The event also gives visitors the opportunity to help feed the zoo’s animals, including its pelicans (at 11.30am and 3pm), otters and primates (3pm).
Algarve residents who can show proof of their residency are offered a 50% discount on ticket prices during the Natalândia festivities.
