Two civilians, a 44-year-old technician and a 51-year-old woman, were injured by a refrigeration equipment explosion at Portimão’s PSP police station this Thursday afternoon (November 21).
Both sustained minor injuries and were transported to Portimão Hospital, a source from Algarve’s Emergency and Civil Protection Command told Notícias ao Minuto.
The explosion occurred at 4.22pm, mobilising 15 first-responders, including firefighters and INEM personnel, with seven vehicles on-site.
