Exhibition will be inaugurated on December 2
German artist Anke Punt Bach will unveil her latest exhibition, ‘Angels’, at the municipal library of Lagoa on Monday, December 2 at 4.30pm.
“The 29 Angel paintings were born after half a year of research to bring the magic of Christmas to Lagoa,” says Anke, adding that the “style is a combination of illustrations art combined with round shapes and decorative finishes.”
“Being a teacher at Escola de Artes in Lagoa, I also decided to include four paintings by students Gonçalo, Maria, Lucas and Martim (aged 8 and 9),” Anke adds.
“I hope to inspire and show something I enjoyed creating to the people of the Algarve.”
The exhibition will remain on display until January 31, 2025, and can be visited weekdays from 10am to 6pm for free.
