Joy4Caring was founded on a passion for providing exceptional care. My name is Agi, and I have nearly 20 years of experience in caregiving. I am 42 years old and have worked as a carer in the Algarve. After many years of experience, I decided to start my own business. I run this together with my husband Robert, who manages the internal operations and with the help of a wonderful group of experienced carers.
At Joy4Caring, we provide personalised home care services for elderly individuals and those living with conditions such as dementia, Parkinson’s disease or recovering after surgery. Based in the Algarve, our dedicated team ensures that our clients can maintain their independence and stay comfortably in their own homes without the need for a care facility. Our services are centred in the area around Portimão, including Lagos, Silves and Carvoeiro.
As well as personally caring for several of our clients, I am always available to guide and support our team of carers. All our care is tailored to the specific needs of each client, ensuring they receive the highest standard of service.
Our care extends beyond basic assistance. Every carer at Joy4Caring is trained and experienced in their specialised areas, providing expert support tailored to the unique needs of each individual. Whether it’s helping with daily activities, providing companionship, or managing the complex needs of dementia or Parkinson’s disease, our team is here to offer compassionate care.
We understand that every situation is different, which is why we develop personalised care plans to ensure that our clients receive the right level of care and attention. Our services range from six hours of support each day to 24-hour care, all within the comfort of their own home. If the client has a pet, we are happy to care for their animal companion as well.
Joy4Caring is dedicated to enriching the lives of those we serve, promoting dignity and enhancing the quality of life for the elderly and disabled in the Algarve, or even improve their conditions. In 2015, my father suffered a major stroke and needed brain surgery. As a carer, I helped him make a full recovery.
If you or a loved one requires professional, caring support, Joy4Caring is here to help. Additionally, if you are an experienced carer, we would love for you to join our team.
