On a day when it is under fire from all sides, and has suffered another ‘budgetary defeat’, Portugal’s minority AD government has stressed that it is moving forward on allowing building (of homes) on rustic land. This was one of the pillars of the Housing Programme released some months ago – the idea being that municipalities will be able to decide projects, based on their merit/ need, etc.
