Following the recent arrests of young men suspected of taking part in the brutal attack on a Lisbon Carris bus and its driver (who narrowly escaped with his life), two men remain in custody, facing charges of attempted murder, arson, criminal damage and ‘failure to provide help’ (a civic duty). Reports today say the bus’s own video camera system captured images of the attack, which have been studied by investigators who are still on the trail of at least six other suspects.
