New police operation in Lisbon: ‘suspected counterfeit material’ seized; two illegal immigrants indentified

A new police operation in another problematic area of Lisbon (Largo de São Domingos) seized several materials suspected of being counterfeit yesterday and raised 22 reports of administrative offences. In a statement released today, the PSP Metropolitan Command said the operation “took into account the crime of receiving stolen goods and other illegal activities” and “various complaints and reports of insecurity”. Notifications were also issued  to two foreign citizens for voluntary abandonment of national territory, due to their illegal situation in national territory.
