A Lebanese courier travelling through Amadora on his delivery route claims to have been robbed of all the money he was carrying after being held up at gunpoint by a trio, including a 10-year-old boy and a young man on crutches.
The courier has told police that both adults were carrying weapons: one a gun, the other a machete. The child was simply accompanying them, but did not take part in the robbery.
Fearing for his life, the man says he handed over everything he had. Police are going through CCTV images, to see if they can identify this incident.
If they can, the description of the child will be communicated to child protection services.
