Teen clash near Estoril school leaves two injured

A violent altercation erupted near São João do Estoril Secondary School in Cascais, Portugal, on Tuesday. Two 18-year-olds, believed to be from rival gangs, were injured – one with a machete wound to his hand, and the other with abrasions.

Authorities received alerts around 1.18pm, responding promptly.

While the machete victim was transferred to a Lisbon hospital, the suspected aggressor was intercepted nearby.

Police report the incident as a “settling of scores,” with investigations ongoing.
