Family of four found dead in Vilar Formoso

A couple and their two young children have been found dead in their home in Vilar Formoso, in the municipality of Almeida, allegedly from carbon monoxide inhalation, a source from the Guarda GNR Territorial Command has told Lusa. Authorities were called to the property by neighbours who “were surprised not to see any movement in the house for at least two days”. PJ police are investigating, and have carried out forensic tests in the property.
