MAI – the ministry of Internal Affairs – has today lamented the death last night of a young GNR agent (SEPNA division) in a collision between a patrol car and another vehicle. The accident took place at 6.45pm on the EN119, in the town of Santo EstĂȘvĂŁo, Benavente municipality. A second agent suffered serious injuries, while the driver of the car only suffered minor injuries. An investigation is now taking place, with some questions already posed over the condition of the patrol carâs tyres.Â
