Marcelo open to calling Council of State on security

President Marcelo has announced that he intends to call a meeting of the Council of State on security, as requested by CHEGA leader André Ventura. Speaking to the media in Lisbon yesterday, the country’s head of state stressed that he had only just learnt that the Annual Internal Security Report will be released and delivered to parliament at the end of March, “with important data, definitive data on security matters (…) and therefore I will wait until the end of March” to decide on a date for the meeting.
