Sítio da Pereira and surrounding communities in Mexilhoeira Grande, Portimão will soon have access to public drinking water, thanks to a project led by municipal water company EMARP starting this month.
The initiative will install 3,900 metres of pipelines, connecting 116 properties currently relying on private wells to the municipal water network.
The works are expected to last 120 days.
