Drug mules caught with 33,000 doses of cocaine

PJ judicial police at Lisbon airport have had the unenviable task of dealing with drug mules from Brazil and Guinea-Bissau with “around 33,000 doses of cocaine hidden” either on or in their bodies. “Part of the product was transported by one of the suspects, meticulously concealed on his body, and the rest was inside the body of another”, explains the PJ in a statement. In all three people have been arrested, and are being held in preventive custody. The drugs meantime have been extracted, fortunately without incident.
