Algarve agency scoops three prestigious honours at international event in London
The Algarve branch of the UK-based estate agency Fine & Country emerged as the standout winner at this year’s international awards ceremony, held in London on Friday, February 28, 2025.
The Algarve operation, with offices in Carvoeiro, Albufeira, Almancil, and Tavira, walked away with three top accolades: Best Marketing & Exposure, Best European Operator, and the coveted Best International Operator. It was a remarkable haul for the team from Portugal’s sun-drenched coast.
Zoie Hawker, Managing Partner of Fine & Country Algarve, couldn’t attend the event this year as she’s currently in the USA, promoting the company on a roadshow. Speaking from Houston, Texas, she beamed with pride for her team’s achievement. “I was gutted to miss the ceremony this time – I’ve been there every year since we launched our Algarve operation 12 years ago,” Zoie said.
“But we absolutely smashed it! I’m incredibly proud and grateful to my brilliant team, and to our head office in London for recognising us as the best. These aren’t awards you can buy – they’re the real deal. To be singled out from over 300 companies in the Fine & Country network and come away with three of the most sought-after honours is just phenomenal.”
Jorge Pereira, Director of Operations at Fine & Country Algarve, represented the company at the ceremony alongside other team members and shared Zoie’s excitement. “Looking back, we’ve come such a long way,” he reflected. “In 2023, we bagged our first award for Best Marketing & Exposure, and then in 2024, we took home Best Social Media. This year’s unprecedented triple win is a testament to the dedication, ingenuity, and sheer grit of our entire team.”
The annual conference, a two-day affair held at The Brewery in London, brought together hundreds of Fine & Country agents from the UK and across the globe. On a broader note, the company has extra cause for celebration: at a UK level, Fine & Country has been named the nation’s most recommended estate agency by YouGov for the second consecutive year. With its international headquarters on Park Lane in London and over 300 offices worldwide, the network continues to set the standard in premium property services.
