There will be a retiring collection for the Lagoa Food Bank
Padre Nuno Coelho will be celebrating the Second Sunday of Lent in English this Sunday, March 16, at 4pm, in Carvoeiro at the chapel on the cliffs, Ermida da Nossa Senhora de Encarnação (Our Lady of the Incarnation).
Padre Nuno is going the extra mile to serve the international community through these Masses in English. He also adapts his mass to include any French speakers present. So, if you are looking for a meaningful celebration of your Catholic faith, in English/French, please join us. Everyone is most welcome even if you do not normally attend this church.
This Mass will be in English: the readings, the hymns as well as the Order of Mass. There will be a retiring collection for the Lagoa Food Bank. We have over 100 families in need at this time. Please give generously.
This mass will be in addition to the chapel’s usual Saturday evening Mass at 5.30 pm (in Portuguese). This English Mass (usually the third Sunday of every month) does not replace that.
