Algarve celebrates diverse tourism offer at BTL

Turismo do Algarve is taking part in the Better Tourism Lisbon Travel Market 2025 in Lisbon between 12 and 16 March.

Turismo do Algarve is preparing for the BTL this week, the country’s largest tourism fair, held annually at the FIL – Lisbon International Fair. This year, the Algarve’s participation will celebrate the diversity of the region’s tourism offer, showcasing a programme full of wine and food experiences, presentations of strategic products, cultural initiatives, and more.

Located in Pavilion 1, the 700 m² Algarve stand, combining modernity with traditional elements, will serve as a meeting point for industry professionals and visitors, offering an authentic and immersive experience.

Innovative projects and emblematic events will be showcased, including the MED Festival, the Algarve Walking Season, and the Algarvensis Geopark, and on March 13 at 14h00, the destination’s key strategic initiatives for 2025 will be revealed.

“BTL presents a unique opportunity for us to showcase the dynamics of the Algarve’s tourism sector, which continually reinvents itself to offer authentic and sustainable experiences for visitors. The Algarve goes far beyond sun and sea; it is a vibrant destination, rich in tradition, culture, gastronomy, and exceptional wines,” emphasises André Gomes, President of Turismo do Algarve.
