The Silves winery will host the third instalment of The Circle events on March 29, featuring a “Bottle Shock” screening paired with pizza and wine.
Idyllic winery Morgado do Quintão in Silves is preparing for the third edition of The Circle events on March 29. This time round, participants will have the opportunity to taste the winery’s Clarete paired with pizzas fresh from the oven before settling down for a film session under the stars.
The next edition of The Circle at Morgado do Quintão “is all about slowing down and savouring life’s simple pleasures”, says the organisation. The evening programme will start at 17h30 with a tasting of Morgado do Quintão wines, thoughtfully paired with delicious, artisanal pizza slices prepared by Arte Bianca.
The famous West Coast pizzeria is renowned for its authentic Italian craftsmanship. “Arte Bianca doesn’t want to be just a pizzeria, but an expression of years of research and study to find the perfect balance between ingredients, offering our senses a journey of healthy discoveries and authentic flavours”, say the pizzaiolos.
As night falls, participants will be invited to gather beneath the open sky by the Morgado do Quintão vines for a screening of Bottle Shock (2008), a specially selected film about wine, in partnership with Counting Stars Open-Air Cinema.
The evening promises an informal and intimate setting, with blankets provided for comfort. Given the unstable weather in recent weeks, the event organisers assure participants that if conditions do not permit the event to take place, it will be rescheduled for a later date.
Tickets cost €50 per person (including two glasses of Clarete wine, unlimited pizza, one dessert, and one cinema ticket) or €90 for two (including one bottle of Clarete wine, unlimited pizza, two desserts, and two cinema tickets).
Reservations are required and can be made here.
