In a meeting held on Monday in Seville, the three mayors agreed to travel to Brussels soon to accelerate construction timelines.

Local authorities on both sides of the border have adamantly stressed the importance of the proposed high-speed link, arguing that it would help bolster their economies and significantly improve accessibilities.
