April races into history books at Algarve International Circuit

The Algarve International Circuit hosted events every weekend of April

April was one of the busiest months ever at the Algarve International Circuit, which hosted events every weekend of the month, totalling 37 races across four separate events.

Organisers reported that winning drivers completed 689 laps in total across all main circuit events. In addition, the nearby Algarve International Karting Track held two more competitions in April.

The month’s activity forms part of what has already been an intensive start to the year at the racetrack. In the first four months of 2025, the circuit has hosted 10 competitive events, averaging around 2.5 per month, in what officials describe as a record-breaking pace in terms of volume.

More than 200 marshals and medical personnel were deployed across April’s events, according to circuit representatives. These teams were responsible for safety and race operations, responding to incidents as required and helping ensure the events ran without major disruption.

Beyond racing, the venue also hosted several commercial and corporate functions. These included product launches such as CF Moto’s international range presentation, which brought over 600 people to the Algarve, and the global debut of two Triumph motorcycle models, showcased both at the circuit and on nearby roads.
