Shopping, fun and family entertainment are promised at this weekend’s 13th Vale do Lobo Christmas Market. The hugely popular event on Saturday and Sunday (December 2 and 3), from 10am to 5.30pm, is a great day out for the entire family.
Organisers say it’s the ideal place to pick up fantastic Christmas gifts, to sample gourmet food and wine and to get into the festive spirit with entertainment for all ages.
The Christmas Market is free to attend and is held throughout the Parque do Golfe and Vale do Lobo Auditorium, a warm and inviting covered area.
This year, the event will be welcoming a new record number of exhibitors, showcasing the very best products – everything from gourmet wines and food to beautiful jewellery, arts and crafts, ceramics, fashion, children’s clothing, sweets, regional produce, flowers, paintings, body products, toys, cards, gifts, cakes and much more – all in one place!
To complement the extensive market area, an entertainment programme has been prepared that includes dance shows, children’s entertainment and live music with Betty Martins. Stay the whole day and enjoy lunch or a snack from the gourmet caterers Algarve Fine Food, Anise – A Cuisine Affair and Asiana The Indian Caterers, who will be running the food court and restaurant area at the market.
Take part in a raffle, with proceeds going to the Wolf Valley Charity Fund, which provides support and finance to numerous causes in the local area.
This year, as the Christmas Market celebrates its 13th anniversary, the resort wants to commemorate the occasion in a special way, introducing new elements, innovative stands, decorations and festive ambience throughout the day.
