An abandoned passenger bus and a number of cars have been carbonised (left burnt-out wrecks) in Loulé this weekend in an incident that looks like arson. Locals report seeing a group of “youngsters/ children – the oldest possibly 13 or 14”, exiting the bus in haste right at the time the first smoke started to be noticed. The fire rapidly spread, leaving the bus and two of the damaged vehicles completely burnt out. A further two cars were partially damaged, but almost certainly will end up being write-offs.
