A&E doctor shortages continue throughout country

The lack of doctors to guarantee A&E services continues up and down the country, warns FNAM (the national federation of doctors) which says one of the most ‘complicated’ cases is that of Porto’s Hospital Santo António where there are no medical specialists available at night any longer. FNAM and SIM (the independent syndicate of doctors) have suspended industrial action pending the swearing into office of a new government.
