The Air France-KLM group said today that a minority position in TAP ‘could be interesting’ if it aligns with its objectives but considers it speculative to provide more information while waiting to understand the conditions of the new government. The question follows the European Commission’s ‘decision’ yesterday to delay its decision on Lufthansa’s proposed acquisition of 40% of ITA Airways on the basis that it could harm competition on some routes’ and lead to higher prices for consumers and a decrease in the quality of service.
