An Air Transat plane was forced to make an emergency landing at Faro Airport on Wednesday morning, prompting the airport to raise its red alert.
Reports Correio da Manhã, the plane landed safely after an “anomaly was detected onboard”.
Around 150 passengers were on the plane.
The cause of the emergency landing had not yet been clarified as the Resident went to press.
