Airline takeover

BRITISH AIRWAYS (BA) has agreed to purchase French airline L’Avion for 68 million euros.

The privately owned French company operates two Boeing 757 between Paris and Newark, US.

L’Avion will now function as a subsidiary of BA and will be flying under the OpenSkies plan which has been in operation since June 19. It is hoped by BA that the new acquisition will enable the airline to offer a broader range of services to their Paris based clients.
