AL holiday lettings forced to reduce prices

July has not been going well for AL (holiday lettings): there is less demand for short-term rentals and visitors are looking for a good deal. Rui Silva of GuestReady has been telling Diário de Notícias that this year will be difficult, as other countries (like Albania and Montenegro) are offering much cheaper deals, which tourists are taking… This far Porto has been the city most affected by the ‘exodus’, but Silva believes prices /owners’ profit margins will need to come down further still before the year is out.
