A derelict building in Ferreiras has been purchased by Albufeira council to be used for social housing and possibly to home the local parish council. Costing €250,000, the building is located in Tominhal/Lagoas and is currently made up of five apartments and four shop spaces. It will have to undergo renovations which will start “as soon as possible,” says the council.
