Almonds, figs and carobs are among the traditional Algarvian products that will be featured at the Dried Fruits and Nuts Fair this weekend (August 30 to September 1), which will be held in Alcantarilha in the square in front of the parish council.
There will be stalls selling a variety of dried fruits and nuts, typical sweets and handicrafts as well as live performances by artists singing traditional Portuguese music. The fair opens its doors each day from 6pm.
Entrance is free.
