Alcoutim council has donated a new all-terrain vehicle to the local GNR police.
The vehicle was handed over to the police force on September 13 following the signing of a protocol during the celebrations of Alcoutim’s municipal day. Among the people attending the event was the Mayor of Alcoutim and the Commander of Faro GNR Police Command.
“This vehicle will reinforce the operational ability of this police force and will be used to carry out the different missions attributed to GNR, allowing for a better and more effective response to the population’s needs,” the district command of Faro GNR said in a statement.
